Where we started
Our story started in 1999, with my own children. I couldn’t find colourful, playful shoes that stayed on my baby’s feet, which led me to hand-make my first-ever pair of shoes at our kitchen table. This was the moment I identified a real gap in the market for engaging and secure shoes that optimise foot health for developing feet.
I can still remember so clearly the first time I saw a baby wearing my shoes; my excitement and pride were unimaginable!
Where we are now
Fast forward 25 years, and our business and family have grown and flourished, and I now get to watch my grandchildren learn to walk in Inch Blue shoes.
Since our beginning, Inch Blue has become a well-known and trusted brand with stockists and happy customers all around the world. Even all these years on, we are still one of the few UK manufacturers who specialise in luxury baby shoes and accessories.
We’ve built our impeccable reputation over the years because we’re passionate about everything we do, allowing our quality and customer service to stand out. When your first customers are now buying shoes for their grandchildren, it’s impossible not to feel proud!

Inch Blue HQ is nestled in the Welsh countryside, where our lovely team hand-makes and packs your orders with the utmost care and pride. All our products are designed and handmade ethically at every stage - starting with the materials we use and ending with the packaging we send them in. Our company is 100% plastic-free, and our leather is free from toxic chemicals to ensure complete comfort and safety for even the tiniest of toes.

Inch Blue barefoot shoes
